Incentives can combine lake team building activities, flights in light aircraft, walking excursions (easy to advanced), cultural and shopping visits to nearby Salzburg and spa days with some excellent dining and drinking facilities along the way.
This area is suitable for large groups (100-250 persons) with hotel by the lakes or mountain village resorts which can be taken as soul occupancy for that exclusive experience to wow your staff.

Some festival trips work better as prize incentives rather than for company-wide trips due to the high accommodation costs and availability during these times.

The mountains are calling, and I must go! – John Muir
Before you even arrive, the mountains seem to have a magical power in motivating your staff. The excitement begins in the office as they check the daily snow forecast and long for the fresh mountain air.
There are a number of corporate friendly European ski destinations with hotels offering short stays and restaurants and bars in abundance suited to large groups.
Europe is generally more popular, however clients with international offices sometimes choose to host their trip across the pond with the breathtaking backdrop of the The Rockies.
Countries: Austria, France, Switzerland, Some of Canada
Airports: Innsbruck, Munich, Salzburg. Chambery. Geneva, Zurich. Calgary.
The destinations we programme offer activities both on and off the slopes such as ski-doo racing, snow shoe walking, curling, horse and carriage rides and spa days.
This makes it easy to craft your trip around the needs and interests of your colleagues and for larger groups, we can coordinate multiple activities to ensure everyone gets the most out of the trip.
This coupled with group activities, meals and drinks allows large companies to cater for employee interests while bringing teams together over lunch and at dinner to share their experiences of the day!
For groups up to 10-12 per yacht, you can take part in some of the famous competitions in the channel including Cowes Week on the Isle of White. You will have a professional skipper on board to guide your group and enjoy the thrill of the race followed by the best hospitality in some of the exclusive parties in and around Cowes.
No previous experience necessary, great for hospitality trips and as a prize for top performing sales staff. Not suitable for very large groups.
Airports: London Gatwick, London Heathrow for regional connections.
Our event managers go that extra mile to dress even the largest of group dinners to try to create a warm, friendly ambience in keeping with the feel of the destination and tailored menu.
Pictured is a mountain hut dressed for a large annual corporate trip, which included some traditional music and entertainment followed by x-factor style group performances for company newcomers. The evening began with a warm Austrian welcome reception on the terrace with fire pits, mulled wine, schnapps and traditional canapes – there was even some yodelling!
Mountain minibus transfers were organised as the narrow mountain track could not accommodate a coach. Minibuses shuttled the group of 150 guests up and down the mountain quickly and efficiently, all coordinated by our on site specialist.
The evening was a roaring success and was topped off with a sprinkling of snow as a tired group departed to return to the hotel.
In the world of incentives, people overuse the phrase ‘money can’t buy experiences’. While this is never true in actual fact, what they are trying to convey is that the benefits of the experience for your staff greatly outweigh the cost to your business.
Imagine: Clear skies, breathtaking winter scenery, snow glistening and cracking under the sleigh, powered by huskies letting out low, excited cries; Guiding you on an adventure through the back country towards a warm place to stop for a hot chocolate and lunchtime bite.
If you want something your employees will recount with joy for years to come, then make husky treks a part of your next incentive programme.
Countries: Finland, Norway, Canada, America.
Airports: Kiruna, Tromsø, Calgary, Jackson (WY),
Amazing sights and experiences can be accessed with short ambling strolls along ready made gorge walks. You can get right up to turquoise crystal waters feeling the spray hitting your face as you safely navigate these waterside paths.
Numbers may be limited for very larger corporate parties due to space restrictions, however as an optional activity for part of a group, it provides a less extreme option than canyoning (jumping off rocks into cold water pools) or advanced gorge treks and keeps your participants dry and out of the water!
Personal highlights: The Ruinaulta (dubbed the Swiss mini grand canyon), Geisterklamm (pictured), Gelfenklamm (South Tyrol, Italy).
Countries: Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland
Airports: Various routes from the UK
